IDEALondon is a workspace and innovation centre in the heart of Shoreditch — home to some of the most ambitious and flourishing new businesses in London’s tech city.
A partnership of UCL, and WilbeLAB, IDEALondon is here to give startups the space and support they need to grow — whether it’s access to funding, access to London’s best talent, expert advice from our partners, or just the space to get to work — all at an affordable rate and without asking for equity in return.
We’ve been home to more than 70 startups that have created over 3,000 jobs and raised more than £340 million funding between them. You might have heard of some of our alumni… like Curve, the banking platform now valued at $250 million with more than 500,000 users.

WilbeLAB is a scientist-led platform to find, design and run workspaces and laboratories for science, deep tech and egineering companies, specialising in supporting academic entrepreneurship.
It’s part of Wilbe Group a venture operator educating, building and investing in ambitious scientists solving the world’s hardest problem
IDEALondon is at the centre of UCL’s provision for post accelerator start-up support. In particular, UCL Engineering, whose mission it is to Change the World, provides world-leading research and IP, innovative educational experiences and a network of sought after students and graduates for internships and employment.
It specialises in offering access to startup mentoring, satellite education programmes, small business funding information and unique user testing and hardware prototyping facilities. It is also a hub for global academic-business technology networks.
